I graduated college in 2010 with a degree in Cultural Studies. I currently live, and work in Brooklyn, New York where I am a professional nanny for a wonderful family. In addition, I’m a Marketing Coordinator at Mommywise, Certified Lactation Counselor and trained Postpartum Doula through DONA International.
My years of hands-on child-care experience has left me with a wealth of knowledge on all things-child and nanny. I will provide you with useful information about your child; from how to baby-proof your house, to critical thought/experience based essays on parenting and nanny styles. Sometimes what you read will be dry, and more times than not my writing will be opinionated. I don’t intend to fill up topics with unnecessary monologues-though sometimes I may.
This blog is a tool for parents and nannies to reference when dealing with their children, and even with one another. I understand that navigating the world of babysitting search engines and nanny agencies can be daunting, and I can help.
If you are a parent looking for your perfect nanny please visit my consulting page. I can assist at any stage of the hiring process, whether it’s writing your job description, selecting potential candidates or conducting interviews.
Please read, enjoy, share and comment.
*Disclaimer: I am not a pediatrician or licensed in early-childhood development; the advice given in this blog is just that, advice, based on my many years of hands-on experience and exposure to the field.
